SSU notifies Luhansk collaborators of suspicion: they transport FPV drones for enemy in ‘humanitarian convoys’

The SSU has collected evidence on another three collaborators who work for russia in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk oblast.

These are Yevhen Katsavalov, the head of the occupation department of the ‘LNR ministry of internal affairs’, and his two ‘deputies’ - Vitaliy Kucherov and Roman Kochetov.

After appointment to their ‘positions’ in 2023, they began executing kremlin’s orders on the logistics of the russian occupation troops fighting on the eastern front.

Among other things, they organized the supply of combat FPV drones from russia to the occupiers on the front line.

To disguise the supplies, the collaborators transported the drones by trucks under the guise of ‘humanitarian aid’ for civilian population.

The enemy accomplices used such ‘humanitarian convoys’ to transport ammunition and military equipment to russian troops.

They also organized the production of explosive devices for drones, which the russians use to attack units of Ukrainian Defence Forces.

The Luhansk ‘officials’ often report on this during their speeches on russian media, where they call on the civilian population of the temporarily occupied districts of Luhansk region to support the war against Ukraine.

For his ‘work’, putin promoted Katsavalov to the rank of ‘lieutenant general of internal service’.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified all three individuals of suspicion in absentia under Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (voluntary holding by a citizen of Ukraine of a position related to the performance of organizational, administrative or administrative and economic functions in illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory, including in the occupation administration of the aggressor state).

Efforts are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
