SSU serves suspicion notice to “minister of transport of dnr” for building new railway lines for transferring russian troops to frontlines
The SSU collected evidence on another russian official providing logistical support to the occupiers in the eastern Ukraine.
Vladimir Tuzhylin, the former head of the Main Road Administration in the Nyzhnii Novhorod region of the russian federation, was appointed in May 2013 as a “minister of transport of dnr” on the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.
The defendant is involved in the construction of new transport routes for the transfer of russian troops from the Rostov region to Ukraine.
Primarily, it is a direct railway line that should run from the territory of russia to Donetsk city.
Meanwhile, Tuzhylin is coordinating the transportation interchange between the temporarily occupied cities of Mariupol and Berdiansk, and Melitopol.
According to the SSU, the enemy plans to use this route as an alternative way to transfer its troops to Crimea and the southern frontlines.
Based on the evidence, the SSU` investigators have served Tuzhylin in absentia suspicion under Article 110.2 of the CCU (encroachment on Ukraine`s territorial integrity and inviolability).
The perpetrator is currently located in the temporarily occupied territory in the east of our country.
The SSU has established the offender`s location and is taking comprehensive measures to bring him to justice.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU officers in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.
