SSU serves suspicion notice to head of ‘transport ministry’ of occupied part of Kherson region, involved in deportation of Ukrainian children to russia

The SSU systemically exposes and documents crimes of occupation authorities in the temporarily captured areas of Ukraine.

As a result of an investigation, the SSU notified the so-called ‘minister of transport of Kherson region of russia’ of suspicion.

The suspect is a russian citizen who was ‘appointed’ to the occupation authority in May 2022.

In this ‘position’, he fulfilled moscow’s task of reorganizing the local transport system to meet the needs of the aggressor’s military on the southern front.

The ‘minister’ is also one of the organizers of deportation of Ukrainian children from the occupied part of Kherson region to russia under the guise of trips to children’s camps.

Under this person’s leadership, invaders smuggled tons of Ukrainian grain to russia by sea by dry cargo.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the ‘official’ of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:

  • 109.1 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or seizure of state power);
  • 332-2.1 (unlawful crossing of Ukraine’s state border with the aim of harming the state’s interests).

The suspect is currently in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk.

The SSU is acting to bring him to justice.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
