SSU investigates head of putin’s special forces university

The SSU has collected evidence against another high-ranking russian official involved in the war against Ukraine.

This is the head of putin’s chechen university of special forces, Baybetar Vaykhanov.

He is a member of Kadyrov’s inner circle, and on his instructions, the individual organizes the training of militants for the russian occupation troops.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than 40,000 russian military personnel and mercenaries have been trained at this educational institution.

Among them are militants of the 78th motorized special purpose regiment Sever-Akhmat and the regiments Akhmatrosiya and Akhmat-Chechnya of the 42nd motorized rifle division of the 58th combined arms army of russia.

All of them are directly involved in warfare against Ukraine’s Defence Forces on the eastern and southern fronts.

Before being sent to the front line, the students of putin’s university undergo a week-long training at Gudermes base.

There they receive comprehensive tactical, firearms, information and ideological, and medical training.

After completing the ‘courses’, the militants are transferred to the hottest spots of the frontline, where they storm Ukrainian positions.

Under Vaykhanov’s leadership, production of FPV drones and training of UAV pilots has been launched on the basis of his university since November 2023.

Based on the evidence, the SSU has notified Vaikhanov of suspicion in absentia under Articles 27.5, 437.2 of the CCU (aiding and abetting in the conduct of aggressive war).

Efforts to bring the criminal to justice are underway.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
