SSU notifies suspicion to head of occupation ‘ministry of education’ who makes schoolchildren sing russian anthem

The SSU has collected evidence against collaborator Olena Shapurova, the head of the occupation ‘ministry of education’ in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.

In this ‘position’, she fulfils the kremlin’s task of ‘reformatting’ the work of local educational institutions according to russian ‘standards’.

To do this, Shapurova ordered the destruction of Ukrainian textbooks and complete ‘rewriting’ of Ukrainian history curriculum in favour of the occupiers.

Shapurova also forces teachers to sing the anthem of the aggressor state together with students during ‘educational’ process and celebration of russian ‘memorable’ dates.

For total russification of Ukrainian schools in the temporarily occupied part of the region, the collaborator received the ‘order of friendship’ from putin in the kremlin.

According to the investigation, Shapurova voluntarily cooperated with the enemy immediately after the capture of Melitopol.

At the time, she headed one of the city’s colleges and was one of the first to support russian invaders.

For this, ruscists appointed her to russia’s local occupation administration, where the collaborator headed the ‘educational’ segment.

Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators served Shapurova a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.3 of the CCU (collaboration).

As the suspect is in the temporarily occupied area, efforts are underway to bring her to justice.

The investigation is carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
