SSU serves suspicion notice to pro-kremlin propagandist Montyan
The SSU has collected irrefutable evidence against the enemy propagandist Tatiana Montyan, who publicly justifies russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
While on the territory of the aggressor state, she is actively involved in information and psychological special operations of russia’s intelligence.
For this purpose, Montyan regularly appears on russian TV channels and calls for changing the boundaries of Ukraine’s state border and supports the occupation troops.
The propagandist massively spreads disinformation on the situation in Ukraine through her channels on YouTube and Telegram with almost half a million subscribers.
According to the investigation, the suspect left for russia in 2021. Since then, she has multiple times visited the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to prepare propaganda stories for the kremlin regime.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators notified her of suspicion under the Articles of the CCU:
- 109.3 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or seizure of state power);
- 110.2 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
- 111-1.1 (collaboration);
- 436-2.3 (justification, recognition of legitimacy, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The SSU exposed and documented the crimes jointly with the Cyber Police Department of the National Police under the supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
