SSU declares pro-russian blogger suspect for recruiting agents for FSB in Zaporizhzhia region
The SSU has documented sabotage activities of a resident (coordinator) of FSB agent networks in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
As a result of the SSU’s special operations in May and July this year, three of his ‘subordinates’ were detained on the Ukraine-controlled territory.
The offenders were preparing terrorist attacks against the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and adjusted russian air strikes on Ukrainian combat positions at the front line.
According to the investigation, the ‘manager’ of the exposed russian agents lives in the captured Vasylivka, works for the FSB and poses as a local blogger.
His main task is to form intelligence networks for the FSB in the Ukraine-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
For recruitment, he is using his Telegram channel, which has up to 30,000 subscribers.
There, the blogger posts messages calling on residents of the region to provide occupiers with information on locations and movements of Ukrainian defenders in the region.
The blogger has immediately put those who wanted to ‘help’ the aggressor in direct contact with an FSB officer.
The traitor is also actively using his online resource to spin kremlin narratives, providing distorted information on the situation at the front and discrediting Ukrainian troops.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators notified the spy of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied part of southern Ukraine, but the SSU has established his location and is acting to bring him to justice.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Zaporizhzhia region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
