SSU declares ruscist suspect: he raped woman during occupation of Kharkiv region
The SSU has collected evidence on another war criminal from russia’s occupation forces.
This is Maksym Lianchenko, a resident of the temporarily occupied Donetsk. Even before the onset of the full-scale war, he voluntarily joined the russia-controlled terrorist group ‘DNR’.
According to the investigation, in March 2022 the enemy soldier was a member of the 115th ruscist regiment, which took part in the seizure of part of Kharkiv region.
During the occupation of one of the border communities, Lianchenko broke into the home of a local resident and forced her to have sexual intercourse.
The woman resisted, so he began to beat her and shoot near her body. When the victim was almost unconscious from the beating, Lianchenko raped her and then threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
On the eve of liberation, the russian serviceman and his unit fled from Kharkiv region.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators served Lianchenko a notice of suspicion under Article 438 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war).
The criminal is hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Efforts are underway to find and bring him to justice.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Kharkiv Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
