SSU serves suspicion notices to another 5 organizers of sham referendum in Luhansk region
The SSU systemically exposes traitors and collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of southern and eastern Ukraine.
As a result of investigations, the SSU identified another five organizers of the unlawful referendum in the temporarily occupied districts of Luhansk region.
One of them is a former deputy director of a lyceum in Lysychansk.
After the city was captured, she voluntarily collaborated with the enemy and joined the local occupation administration.
There, the woman was appointed head of the ‘district commission No 1403’ created by russians.
In this ‘position’, the traitor fulfilled moscow’s task of fabricating the results of the fake plebiscite.
She involved a former nurse and a teacher from a school in Myrna Dolyna in the unlawful activity.
Together, they compiled lists of ’voters’ and urged them to support the region’s accession to russia.
Another two enemy accomplices were a costume designer and a manager of the village culture center in Stanytsia Luhanska, who volunteered to become representatives of the ‘LNR’s territorial election commission’.
According to the investigation, they agitated locals to ‘vote’ in favour of the aggressor state and were engaged in vote rigging.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators notified them of suspicion under the two Articles of the CCU:
- 110.2 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
- 111-1.5 (collaboration).
The suspects are currently hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied part of eastern Ukraine.
The SSU is acting to hold the offenders to account for crimes against Ukraine.
The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions is conducting the investigation under the procedural supervision of Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
