SSU notifies of suspicion another 9 organizers of russia’s sham referendums in temporarily occupied territories
The SSU continues to document unlawful actions of organizers and participants of the fake ‘expression of will’ in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Following the SSU’s investigation, the ‘lnr head’ Leonid Pasichnyk has been notified of suspicion of collaboration.
It has been documented that he signed the appeal of the members of the illegal ‘people’s council of the lnr’ on the entry into force of the criminal ‘law on the referendum of the luhansk people’s republic on the issue of joining russian federation as a subject of russian federation’.
On his instructions, organizational work was carried out to set up and launch into operation the ‘central and local election committees’, funding was provided for preparation and holding of the fake plebiscite.
Pasichnyk also regularly participated in propaganda events, justifying the need for pseudo-voting and joining russia.
The SSU also notified of suspicion the 8 so-called ‘members of the people’s council of the dnr’:
- Maxim Knysh;
- Oleksandr Malkov;
- Natalia Strelchuk;
- Myroslav Rudenko;
- Anastasia Selivanova;
- Oleksandr Bondarenko;
- Oleksandr Diagovets;
- Oleksiy Zhigulin.
These collaborators at one of the meetings unanimously voted for the ‘law’ on holding the ‘referendum’ and appealed to the leader of the terrorist organization DNR Pushilin to sign this illegal document.
Within the initiated criminal proceedings, SSU investigators notified the offenders of suspicion of crimes under two Articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- 111-1.5 (collaboration);
- 110.2 (trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
The decision to declare them wanted is pending.
The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions is conducting the pre-trial investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s offices.
