The SSU has collected irrefutable evidence that the following ‘officials’ voluntary cooperate with the enemy:

• ‘head’ of the so-called ‘temporary civil administration of Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region’;
• ‘chief’ of the department for agro-industrial development of the ‘LNR Novopskov district administration’, illegally established by the occupiers in Starobilsk district, Luhansk region.

According to the investigation, the gauleiter from Kupiansk district voluntarily defected to the enemy after russia started its full-scale aggression.

Appointed to a fake position, he has been actively supporting the occupiers and calling on his subordinates to cooperate with russians.

The man was in such a hurry to carry out the adversary’s orders that he even forgot to change the banner with the name of his institution in Ukrainian. It is very symbolic that the collaborator makes his speeches for russian mass media against the background of Kupiansk Town Council written in Ukrainian.

The collaborator from Luhansk region had experience in the field of agricultural business management before working for the occupiers. She received the position in exchange for loyalty.

Immediately after the appointment, the woman began to resubordinate agricultural enterprises in the district to the occupation authorities. She has been forcing local agricultural producers to re-register with the occupation authorities and pay taxes to the ‘LNR budget’, and therefore finance russia’s war against Ukraine.

Both collaborators have been notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU).

The SSU is warning: all those who defect to the enemy will be held to account in line with the law.

The SSU has been working on the cases under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv and Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Offices.
