SSU declares another chief from russia’s ‘interior ministry’ suspect for abducting Ukrainians in Kherson region

The SSU has collected evidence on another collaborator from the occupation ‘russian ministry of internal affairs directorate in Kherson region’, which operates in the temporarily occupied part of the oblast. The ‘official’ is involved in mass abductions and torture of local population.

The suspect is hiding from justice on the left bank of the region, but the SSU has identified him and documented his crimes.

The person in question is Serhiy Beryozin, formerly resident of Donetsk region, who joined the terrorist organisation ‘DNR’ in 2014.

At that time, the militant leaders appointed him to the so-called ‘Yasynuvata MIA department’ in the occupied city.

After the full-scale invasion and seizure of Kherson region, the ‘official’ was ‘promoted’ and headed ‘Chaplynka district unit of russia’s Kakhovka district police department’ established by the aggressor.

In this ‘position’, the offender follows moscow’s instructions to suppress the resistance movement and spread the kremlin’s regime.

To do this, he personally orders abduction of local residents and imprisons them in russian torture chambers.

In the cells, people are subjected to brutal torture. In this way, the terrorists are trying to break them and persuade to cooperate with the invaders.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators have notified the ‘official’ of suspicion under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (collaboration).

The efforts to bring him to justice are underway.

The investigation is carried out by the SSU Office in Ternopil region under the supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
