SSU serves notice of suspicion to ‘DNR vice-minister of coal and energy’ who ‘handed over’ mines to occupiers

The SSU has collected irrefutable evidence of guilt of another ‘chief’ in the occupation administration in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region.

The offender is a former high-ranking official of one of the local mining enterprises, who joined the ‘DNR’ terrorist organization in 2014.

There, he was a member of the inner circle of the russian terrorist Strelkov-Girkin.

Following his order, the enemy accomplice was responsible for industrial coal mining and sale of coal in favour of militant groups.

In this position, even before the full-scale invasion, he carried out moscow’s instructions to adapt the region’s fuel and energy complex to the needs of the aggressor state.

According to the investigation, he directly contributed to the transfer of the main enterprises of this sector, including local mines, to the enemy.

The traitor also repeatedly appeared on pro-kremlin YouTube channels, where he publicly called to support russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

SSU investigators notified the individual of suspicion under the Article 258-3.1 of the CCU (participation in a terrorist group or terrorist organization).

The suspect is currently hiding in the temporarily occupied territory of eastern Ukraine.

However, the SSU has established his location, list of contacts and is acting to bring the suspect to prosecution.

The SSU Main Directorate for Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure and Countering Terrorism Financing exposed and documented the offender jointly with the SSU Main Investigation Directorate under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
