SSU serves suspicion notice to owner of Kherson TV channel who promoted gauleiter Saldo
The SSU has collected evidence on the owner of Kherson TV and radio company VTV Plus, who collaborated with the enemy.
After Kherson was captured, the official voluntarily cooperated with russia’s occupation administration.
According to the investigation, the woman provided the ruscists with the TV channel’s resources to disseminate pro-kremlin propaganda and provide media support to local gauleiters.
The collaborator personally interviewed the traitor Volodymyr Saldo, whom she publicly presented as the ‘legitimate’ head of the region.
In this way, the aggressor used the media resource to impose moscow’s narratives on population and spread the occupation regime in the region.
Shortly before Kherson’s liberation, the owner of the TV channel fled and is currently hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied part of southern Ukraine.
Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served her a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.6 of the CCU).
The SSU is acting to bring the suspect to justice.
The offender is facing 12 years in prison.
The SSU Office in Kherson region carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
