The SSU Main Directorate for Internal Security jointly with the SBI have exposed an official of a regional office of the SSU on anti-Ukrainian activities.

The employee also tried to present the armed aggression against Ukraine as an ‘internal civil conflict’ and described the massacres and torture of people in Bucha as ‘staged’.

She also disapproved of the liberation of Ukrainian territories, including the Snake Island.

Based on the evidence collected, the SSU official was served a notice of suspicion under the Article 436-2.3 of the CCU (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed by an official).

Court is to choose a measure of restraint.

The investigation was conducted under the supervision of Volyn Specialized Military and Defence Prosecutor’s Office of the Western Region.
