Rubizhne city: SBU conducts planned anti-terrorist drills

The Coordination Group of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center conducted planned anti-terorrist and tactical drills in Rubizhne city, Luhansk region.

SBU regional departments, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and the State Border Service and representatives of the local authorities participated in the two-day trainings.

The training aimed at increasing the inter-agency cooperation level to prevent the potential sabotage and terrorist threats, and to check the protection of the regional critical infrastructure facilities.

According to the training plan, the “terrorists” tried to commit several sabotage and terrorist attacks at the critical infrastructure facilities. Due to joint actions, law enforcement officers promptly detected and detained the “terrorists”. The consequences of their subversion were eliminated.

Leadership of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center analyzed each stage of the special operation, noting the high level of readiness of the units involved to counter subversive activities. The instrictors also provided recommendations on improving the effectiveness of counter-subversive activity.
