SBU holds staff meeting
In the city of Kherson, the SBU and the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea held a staff meeting. The main topic was a security situation on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the AR of Crimea.
Ukraine's readiness to counteract increasing of Russian armed aggression was checked.
The participants of the meeting paid special attention to countermeasures against growing terrorist threats, reconnaissance and subversive activity in the border areas with the AR of Crimea.
The participants also worked out the interaction mechanisms between public authorities, whose powers include the implementation of state policy on deoccupation and reintegration of Crimea and the city of Sevastopil.
The event was also attended by representatives of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Armed Forces, the State Border Guard Service, the Prosecutor's Office in the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopil, the National Police, the State Bureau of Investigation, the regional branch of the State Property Fund, the State Fiscal Service, the State Migration Service, State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Department of Transport Safety, and others.
In accordance with the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the participants have analyzed the operational readiness while critical situations on the temporarily occupied peninsula.
In particular, they worked out imposure of special economic and other restrictive sanctions on legal entities and individuals involved in the financing of terrorist activities, assistance to IAF and regulatory bodies operating in the occupied territory.
The participants discussed the formation of evidentiary basis and the stage of initiated criminal proceedings on crimes committed during Russian armed aggression and the armed conflict in the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopil.
The staff meeting was held to fulfill the directive instructions of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
