SSU ‘cracks’ enemy accomplices in de-occupied Luhansk region, who provided ruscists with information on Ukrainian patriots and IDPs

In the course of stabilization efforts in the liberated areas, the SSU exposed another two accomplices of the aggressor.

During the temporary occupation of a part of Luhansk region, the two women gave Ukrainian patriots’ addresses to the enemy and assisted in ‘cantonment’ of occupation groups in homes of locals.

In addition, they organized meals for invaders and offered their own houses in the village of Nevske, Svatove district.

For such cooperation, the women received a ‘special status’ from the occupation administration and the opportunity to move freely in the occupied area.

However, after the liberation of the settlement, the enemy accomplices remained in the village and, to avoid justice, tried to gain trust of Ukrainian servicemen.

However, the SSU exposed, documented and detained the suspects.

The detainees have been notified of suspicion under Article 111-2.1 (aiding the aggressor state) of the CCU; court chose custody as a measure of restraint.

The crime is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.

The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk Regions exposed the offence jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
