The Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine is conducting a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on actions aimed at takeover of state power.

The proceedings were opened under Part 1 Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - upon the fact of preparation of actions by certain citizens of Ukraine and Russia with the purpose to seize the state power.

The SSU is going to inform the public on the progress of the investigation.
