The SSU continues to record war crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine, as well as to expose Russian agents and saboteurs in various regions and block the enemy’s propaganda.

In Donetsk and Luhansk regions:

The SSU has recorded and started investigating forcible deportation of tens of thousands of people from Mariupol and the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas to Russia.

Threatening people with weapons, ruscists forced Ukrainians to get on the buses, took their documents and moved them out of Ukraine. 

The SSU is documenting all facts of crimes, gathering evidence for international courts.

In Volyn region:

The SSU Counterintelligence detained a Russian saboteur and seized weapons from him. In 2014-2015, the Russian citizen fought in the Vostok gang of the so-called DNR.

In early March, he illegally crossed the Belarus-Ukraine border to lay low in Volyn. The ruscists planned to activate the saboteur at the right time.

In Kyiv:

The SSU detained an agent of the enemy’s special services who was collecting information about one of the oil depots in Kyiv region.

Shortly before the invasion, the man got a job at the facility and began collecting data on the filling of tanks with fuel and the facility’s links to the Armed Forces. He was preparing to pass the information to Russian special services. The oil depot is not used at the moment.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The SSU conducted a special operation and extracted a propagandist who worked for Russian secret services from the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

The man, under the FSB’s instructions, created the ‘necessary’ picture for the so-called L/DNR and Russian media.

The enemy’s ‘media expert’ gave valuable information to the SSU investigators, in particular, on how Russian special services coordinate propaganda, give topics and ‘scripts’ for stories.

And his last work as a ‘director’: a picture that the Ukrainian Army is allegedly shelling Donetsk, for which DNR militants deliberately shelled residential areas of the city from artillery.

‘For authenticity’ of the propaganda footage, the FSB in advance sent a film crew, who did not suspect a thing, to the target location of the shelling.

In Chernivtsi region:

The SSU special purpose unit detained criminals who offered men of call-up age to go to the EU illegally. Ukrainians who wanted to evade mobilization were willing to pay USD 4,500 for the ‘service’.

The SSU detained the organizer and two ‘clients’ while trying to cross the state border illegally.

All the exposed individuals are testifying and will be punished.
