SSU and National Police detain two enemy spotters in Kharkiv who combined adjusting russian strikes and leaving dead drops with drugs
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police apprehended two individuals who adjusted enemy fire on Kharkiv.
According to the SSU Internal Security and Military Counterintelligence, the perpetrators are a 38-year-old local unemployed man and his 24-year-old partner.
In the breaks between adjusting attacks, the woman sold drugs through the so-called dead drops, which she left around the city for her ‘clients’.
Both traitors worked remotely for the russian intelligence, which recruited the couple when they were looking for easy money on russian Telegram channels.
On their handler’s instructions, they walked the streets of the frontline city and covertly recorded the locations of the Defence Forces. After that, the assets sent a report to the occupiers with photos and geolocations of the targets.
The adversary was most interested in reserve command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SSU.
The SSU documented the crimes of both agents and detained them in an apartment they had rented for secrecy.
During the searches, the investigators seized mobile phones with evidence of their crimes.
