Odesa: SSU and National Police detain six fsb accomplices who set fire to military vehicles (video)
In Odesa, the SSU together with the National Police has dismantled a group of young men who committed a series of arsons on vehicles of the Defense Forces under fsb orders.
In two weeks, the criminals tried to destroy more than 15 service vehicles.
As a result of a special operation, all members of the enemy group were detained in different parts of the city.
They were six residents of Odesa aged 18 to 24 who worked as food delivery couriers.
The offenders came to the attention of the fsb as active users of Telegram channels looking for easy money, where they left their “CVs”.
In one of these chats, a representative of the russian intelligence service replied to the young men and offered money for the destruction of Ukrainian servicemen's cars.
The suspects worked with one fsb supervisor and committed the crime in pairs: one set a fire, and the other recorded it on video.
Working under the guise of a courier delivery, the offenders drove around the city on scooters and established the parking places of the vehicles of the Defense Forces.
Then, they sent photos of potential targets to their russian supervisor for “approval”.
After an fsb “command”, the young men arrived at night at the parking lots of military vehicles, pour flammable mixture and set them on fire.
The perpetrators recorded the fire for “reporting” to the aggressor.
The occupiers planned to use these videos to conduct information and psychological special operations against Ukraine.
The SSU documented the subversive activities of the enemy's accomplices and detained all of them red-handed. The detainees were seized of homemade flammable mixtures and mobile phones with evidence of crimes.
All six offenders have been served a notice of suspicion under Art. 114-1.1 of the CCU (obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations).
The suspects are in custody facing up to 8 years in prison.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Odesa region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
