SSU: ruscists offered ‘military uniforms’ for kids in exchange for votes at sham referendum
In the course of stabilization measures in de-occupied Kherson region, the SSU found another ruscists’ headquarters in Novooleksandrivka village.
The occupiers used the premises of the village council for ‘holding the referendum’. Among the propaganda materials, the law enforcement found there a large batch of children’s clothes in militaristic style.
The apparel accurately copies the clothes of russian invaders and was intended for locals as encouragement to come and vote in the fake plebiscite.
They also tried to bribe Ukrainians with free food.
However, when the enemy saw that local population avoided participation in the pseudo-referendum, they resorted to threats and fraud.
Having persuaded several collaborators to cooperate, they sent with each of them two armed russian servicemen to ‘go around’ each house in the village. If people did not open the door, the occupiers still counted all those registered at this address as ‘yes’ votes.
The SSU has already documented these crimes and has lists, identification data and all the necessary information on each collaborator. All those involved in crimes against Ukraine’s national statehood will be punished.
The stabilization measures in the region were carried out by the SSU and the National Police.
