The SSU has obtained intelligence indicating that russians are preparing a large-scale false flag provocation at a strategic facility in belarus – the Mozyr Oil Refinery.

According to the information available, a sabotage and reconnaissance group consisting of military personnel of the russian armed forces and officers of russian special services, who had been sent to belarus under the guise of ‘Wagner Group’ mercenaries, is preparing the attack.

This russian group is supposed to pose as ‘Ukrainian saboteurs’ and carry out a provocation at the refinery. russia is planning to blame Ukraine for the crime in order to once again try to drag belarus into a full-scale war against our country.

The information about the planned terrorist attack in belarus was obtained by the SSU from several sources. One of them is a testimony of a russian army serviceman taken prisoner by Ukrainian defenders on Zaporizhzhia direction.

The SSU cyber units have also recovered and analyzed data from the captured ruscist’s mobile phone.

Among other things, the SSU established that he had previously taken part in warfare against the Defence Forces in southern Ukraine and had recently been instructed to transfer to belarus as a member of the PMC ‘Wagner’.

Already at the stage of changing his place of service, the russian serviceman was informed about a ‘special mission’ at the Mozyr Oil Refinery. SSU cyber operatives have uncovered deleted messaging with other participants of the ‘mission’, photos of the facility and certain information about the ‘operation’.

The SSU warns the belarusian army against participating in a full-scale war against Ukraine. Every invader who crosses Ukrainian border will be annihilated by our Security and Defence Forces.
