SSU identifies three russian servicemen who raped Ukrainian woman a year ago
The SSU has collected evidence of another war crime committed by russian invaders against civilians in eastern Ukraine.
As a result of an investigation, the SSU identified three occupiers who committed gang rape of a young woman during the seizure of a part of Kharkiv oblast.
The perpetrators are servicemen of the 99th artillery regiment of the russian armed forces.
Last spring, they broke into a household in one of the settlements, where the young woman and her family lived.
Threatening to shoot the family, they forced her to leave with them. The ruscists blindfolded the victim.
Taking advantage of her helpless state, they took turns raping her.
The victim sustained injuries as a result of sexual violence. This was confirmed by the findings of a forensic medical examination.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators notified the three perpetrators of suspicion under Articles 28.2, 438.1 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war, committed by a group upon prior conspiracy).
The SSU is acting to bring the criminals to justice. No ruscist will escape punishment!
The SSU Office in Kharkiv region carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
