The Security Service of Ukraine found a hidden arsenal of military weapons in the city of Sloviansk. Among the seized items were TNT, mines and maps with the coordinates of critical infrastructure facilities of Donetsk region.

Allegedly, the attackers planned to commit sabotage in the region.

The cache was set up in 2014 by an IAF member, who is currently in the wanted list. The cache was found on the territory of his private residence. The law enforcement seized from the cache:

•  one kilo of TNT;
• two electric fuse heads;
• four mines;
• one RPG-26 anti-tank grenade;
• six grenade launchers;
• three RGD-5 grenades;
• 10 fuses;
• cumulative charge;
• almost 1000 rounds of various calibers.

The seized weapons were sent for examination.

The investigation is ongoing to bring to justice those involved in illegal activities.

The operation was carried out jointly with the National Police under the supervision of the Sloviansk District Prosecutor’s Office.
