In Poltava, the SSU exposed an enemy accomplice who conducted information and subversive activities in favour of the aggressor state.

The offender is a local blogger who publicly called on citizens to forcefully seize state power and physically assault Ukraine’s top military and political leadership.

The blogger also disseminated offensive statements about one of the national minorities, which led to exacerbation of the internal situation in the oblast.

The individual published provocative posts on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

Within the investigation, the SSU initiated examinations, which confirmed the facts of the propagandist’s criminal activity.

During the search of the suspect’s home, the law enforcement found mobile phones and computer equipment that he used to disseminate destructive content.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served the blogger a notice of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:

• 109.2, 109.3 (forceful change or overthrow of the constitutional order),
• 110.1 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability).

Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU Office in Poltava region exposed the offender under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
