SSU identifies bloggers who published video of sites hit by enemy missiles in Kyiv on 2 January (video)

The SSU has exposed 4 Kyiv residents who illegally disseminated information on the consequences of russia’s massive missile and drone strike on Kyiv.

On the morning of January 2, they made an unauthorised video recording of enemy missiles hitting sites in the city and posted the footage on social media.

The video was instantly picked up by the aggressor’s numerous propaganda outlets and information resources of the russian intelligence, including the Telegram channel of Shariy, who is suspected of treason.

The occupiers and their henchmen could use the information to prepare new and adjust repeated air strikes on Kyiv.

The bloggers’ mobile phones, which they used to record and disseminate prohibited content, have been seized.

Comprehensive checks are underway. Following them, a decision will be taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The SSU reiterates the ban to film and publish videos and photos of the operation of the Defence Forces and consequences of enemy attacks.

The publication of such media files is considered adjustment of enemy fire, which is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.

The SSU is working to identify and bring to justice all those involved in such unlawful activities.
