Kirovohrad region: SBU exposes black archeologist on selling of World W II infantry weapons
In Kirovohrad region, the SBU exposed a black archeologist. The offender dug World War II weapons and ammunition. Then, the offender sold them to the criminals in an unlawful way.
The SBU documented that a local resident of Oleksanriia city organized a black archeology. Allegedly, he was a top manager of one of the petrol stations. In free time, the perpetrator worked as a black archeologist on the excavator sites of World War II.
The offender gathered a considerable arsenal of weapons. He tried to distribute weapons and ammunition overseas.
During the searches, the SBU seized:
- six F-1 grenades
- sawed-off shotgun of Mosin rifle
- revolver Nagant M1895
- 90 rounds of 7,62 mm caliber
- 1 kg of gunpowder
The seized weapons and ammunition are send to the expertize.
The issue of serving to the detainee a suspicion notice is being resolved.
