SSU exposes member of Opposition Platform – For Life party who ‘handed over’ food and chemical plants in Zaporizhzhia oblast to occupiers

The SSU continues to identify enemy accomplices in the occupied regions of Ukraine.

The offender is the former head of Pology District Council of Zaporizhzhia region, member of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party.

After a part of the region was captured, the man was one of the first to support the invaders.

For this, he was appointed head of the local occupation administration and allowed to form the ‘staff’ of the pseudo-entity.

While in the ‘position’, the traitor carried out the kremlin’s instructions to restructure the work of Ukrainian enterprises in favour of the aggressor state.

First of all, the enemy was interested in large plants in chemical and food industries.

moscow planned to use these capacities to meet the needs of russian military-industrial complex and military groups.

To do this, the collaborator took an ‘inventory’ of local businesses and obliged entrepreneurs to ‘re-register’ in the civil-military administration established by the occupiers.

He also forced the management of Ukrainian companies to pay ‘taxes’ to the russian budget and supply goods to the aggressor state.

In case entrepreneurs disagreed, the collaborator threatened with persecution by ruscist punitive bodies and physical violence.

For coordination, the enemy accomplice was ‘assigned’ a russian supervisor - deputy governor of Penza region, russia.

It was with him that the enemy accomplice coordinated the ‘transferring’ of Ukrainian enterprises to the aggressor, as well as the organization and holding of the sham referendum in the captured area.

In addition, the collaborator actively participated in the kremlin’s propaganda projects and was a ‘character’ in pseudo-documentaries of one of the ideologists of ruscism Okhlobystin.

Based on the collected evidence, the SSU notified the individual of suspicion under the Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration).

The suspect is currently trying to hide from justice in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. However, the SSU established his location and is acting to bring him to justice.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Zaporizhzhia region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
