SSU exposes member of OPZZh party and two collaborators who gave up Ukrainian patriots to enemy in Lyman and Kherson region
The SSU detained another two enemy accomplices in the de-occupied territories. Detainees were members of local occupation administrations and assisted the aggressor state in repressions against Ukrainians.
Following an investigation, the SSU notified of suspicion the former secretary of Oleshky Town Council from the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, whom the enemy appointed the ‘vice-mayor’ of the captured town.
During the investigation, the SSU collected irrefutable evidence of the offenders’ involvement in crimes against Ukraine’s state security. Each of the kremlin’s ‘gauleiters’ will be punished.
In particular, in de-occupied Lyman the SSU Counterintelligence detained a local woman who voluntarily cooperated with the occupiers.
After russia began its full-scale invasion, she called people to support the invaders. For this, the invaders offered her to head the so-called ‘directorate for labour and social protection’ in the temporarily occupied town.
Before being appointed to the ‘position’, the woman was sent to the occupied Yenakiyevo for an ‘ideology course’ on the rules of spreading the kremlin regime.
After that, the collaborator tried to recruit staff for the pseudo-institution and conducted interviews with potential ‘candidates’.
She also helped the aggressors collect personal data on ATO veterans in Lyman.
The detainee has been notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU). Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.
Another suspect was detained in de-occupied Novovoskresenske in Kherson region. The detained individual headed the local occupation administration.
The offender urged locals to support invaders, tried to force the village teachers to cooperate with them, and gave up Ukrainian activists to the enemy, in particular members of the resistance movement.
SSU investigators notified the collaborator of suspicion of crime under Article 111-2.1 of the CCU.
The SSU also documented collaboration activity of the so-called ‘first deputy head of military and civil administration’ of the temporarily occupied Oleshky, Kherson region. Earlier, he was a member of the local town council from the banned Opposition Platform – For Life.
The traitor joined the aggressors after they seized part of the oblast. He is helping the enemy with logistics, for example, by supplying office equipment to the occupation administration and signing illegal orders to carry out moscow’s instructions in the captured town.
The SSU has established the collaborator’s location and routes of movement. The activities to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine are underway.
The operations to expose the offenders were conducted by the SSU Offices in Kherson, Dnipro, Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s offices.
