SBU exposes two foreigners on attempt to create cell of international neo-Nazi terrorist group
The SBU prevented an attempt to create a cell of an international neo-Nazi group in Ukraine. It committed terrorist attacks on racial grounds all over the world using improvised explosive devices.
SBU officers identified two foreigners who arrived in Ukraine to recruit local residents. The foreigners carried out their illegal activities in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv cities.
They preapred a video promoting neo-Nazism and commitment of felonies, including murders and terrorist attacks. To spread the video, offenders involved members of specialized communities in social networks.
The SBU established that the foreigners tried to join a Ukrainian military unit to gain combat experience, which the group representatives planned to use in illegal activities.
The SBU officers timely exposed and documented all attempts of international extremists to create their cell in Ukraine.
Under the Law of Ukraine On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons, the SBU adopted a resolution to deport the offenders with further ban on entry into Ukraine for three years.
