SSU exposes facts of Motor Sich president’s cooperation with ‘DNR’ terrorists (audio)
The SSU Counterintelligence and investigators have uncovered new facts of criminal activity of the president of Motor Sich JSC, who is suspected of working for the aggressor.
The investigation established that after the start of russia’s full-scale invasion the high-ranking official had financed the terrorist organization ‘DNR’, including by paying ‘taxes and fees’ to the budget of this quasi-entity.
Among other things, the Motor Sich president cooperated with a Ukrainian company that has been under the ‘DNR’s control since 2014. The company was responsible for supplying aircraft components to the enterprises of russia’s military and industrial complex.
Through the transactions, the ‘budget’ of the ‘DNR’ terrorist organization received over RUB 290 mln in ‘taxes’ from the sale of aircraft products for the ruscists’ needs.
The leaders of Donetsk occupation administration directed this money for the needs of russian troops involved in warfare against Ukrainian Defence Forces on the eastern front.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU Main Investigation Directorate served the president of the industrial giant a new notice of suspicion under Article 258-3 of the CCU (assisting a terrorist organization).
During further searches, the SSU also found over two dozen medals, certificates and honorary awards to the Motor Sich JSC president from russian military and political leadership.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the offenders to justice.
In October 2022, the SSU detained the president of the Ukrainian aircraft engine manufacturer together with the chief of the company’s foreign economic activity department.
The SSU Counterintelligence Department and the SSU Main Investigation Directorate exposed the offence and carried out the investigation under the supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
