SSU exposes Kupiansk collaborator who after de-occupation came to work at school in Kyiv
The SSU has exposed another traitor who collaborated with russia during the occupation of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region. After the liberation of the city, she moved to Kyiv and was hiding there as an internally displaced person.
Before russia’s full-scale invasion, the woman headed the Centre for Professional Development of Teachers at Kupiansk City Council.
During Kupiansk’s occupation, she sided with the enemy and from July 2022 continued to lead the seized institution.
While in this position, the ‘official’ was involved in developing kremlin ‘guidelines’ for local school teachers.
In these documents, the collaborator demanded that teachers fully adopt russian ‘standards’ of education.
For example, she described in detail the enemy method of teaching students the falsified history of the Ukrainian state.
The head of the institution also taught how to justify russia’s armed aggression and ‘explain’ the ruscist war crimes.
To introduce the ‘innovations’, she met with the ‘LNR’s first deputy minister of education’ as part of a delegation. The event was widely covered by pro-kremlin media and their social networks.
During the liberation of the city, the collaborator hastily moved to Kyiv and obtained a status of an IDP. Later, she got a job as a computer science teacher at a school in Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv.
Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served her a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration).
The investigators are verifying if she was involved in spreading russian propaganda among children at the Kyiv school.
The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Main Directorate in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
