SSU exposes farmer-collaborator in Kyiv region, who fed invaders during occupation of Vyshhorod district
The SSU Counterintelligence has identified another enemy accomplice, who cooperated with russian troops during the temporary occupation of a part of Kyiv region.
The offender is a farmer from Poliska territorial community in Vyshhorod district.
At the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion, the man was one of the first to support the enemy troops that captured local settlements.
To establish cooperation with occupiers, the collaborator supplied them with wholesale amounts of food from his livestock farm. To transport the produce, he ‘confiscated’ a truck from a fellow villager.
In case the owner refused to ‘provide’ the vehicle, the farmer threatened to ‘report’ him to the local occupation administration.
‘Hiding’ behind his ties with the enemy, he forcibly took accumulators, pumping stations, generators, chainsaws and other household equipment from the villagers and handed them over to invaders.
After ruscists fled from the area, the collaborator stayed in one of the villages and hoped to avoid justice.
However, the SSU exposed him, documented his criminal activity and notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.4 of the CCU).
The SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv Region carried out the operation jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Vyshhorod District Prosecutor’s Office.
