The SSU has collected evidence against the head of a structural unit of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. The official justified russia’s armed aggression and the temporary occupation of Ukraine.

The SSU has recordings of conversations in which the suspect denies the sovereignty of Ukraine and offers to give the occupiers the southern territories, including Odesa and Kherson regions.

In communication with his subordinate, the official glorifies mercenaries of the russian private military company Wagner and supports their participation in the war against Ukraine.

In addition, the court employee suggested launching a new offensive against Ukraine from the north to capture Lviv and neighbouring regions.

The perpetrator expressed his hopes for soonest occupation of our country with subsequent establishment of the kremlin’s regime.

The SSU-initiated linguistic examination confirmed the facts of the official’s subversive activities against Ukraine.

During the searches at the suspect’s home, the SSU found:

• mobile phones and computers with evidence of the crime;
• almost 300 unregistered rounds of ammunition for small arms;
• a special technical device for illegal surveillance;
• pro-kremlin literature.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Article 436-2.3 of the CCU (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed by an official).

The investigation is ongoing. The suspect faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
