SSU exposes servant of UOC-MP monastery on calls to seize Kyiv
In Zhytomyr region, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.
The offender is a servant of the Spaso-Pokrovskyi Convent, which belongs to the local diocese of moscow patriarchate’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
After the full-scale invasion began, the individual publicly supported russian invaders and justified their war crimes.
To do this, he joined the pro-kremlin Telegram community russian spring.
There, the man called on the occupiers to kill Ukrainians and capture Kyiv.
The enemy accomplice also often published approving comments regarding the aggressor’s missile strikes on Ukrainian cities.
He especially supported air attacks on energy facilities and social institutions, including schools and hospitals.
In his posts, the servant popularized ruscists, discredited Ukrainian Defence Forces and urged not to join the ranks of Ukrainian defenders.
At the SSU’s initiative, the uncovered material was submitted for a comprehensive forensic psychological and linguistic examination.
According to the experts’ findings, the servant’s ‘publications’ are a threat to Ukraine’s state security.
Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the individual of suspicion under the Article 436-2.1 of the CCU (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The investigation is underway.
The SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region exposed the offender under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
