SSU exposes another 11 Internet agitators who spread kremlin propaganda in Ukraine

The SSU has neutralized information and subversive activities of another 11 pro-russian Internet agitators in several Ukraine’s oblasts.

In Kyiv:

The SSU Counterintelligence exposed a Kyiv resident who called for a ‘union with russia’. The man created and personally administered several groups on Facebook, Telegram and Viber to spread this ‘idea’.

In Mykolaiv:

a clergyman of a local UOC-MP church was served a notice of suspicion. According to the investigation, the cleric publicly called on believers to support russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The law enforcement blocked subversive activities of two enemy agitators. One of them was an employee of a critical infrastructure facility in Dnipro, and the other worked at an aviation company in Kryvyi Rih.

The agitators used various social networks to praise russia’s top military and political leadership and discredit Ukrainian defenders.

In Kirovohrad region:

a network of russian Internet propagandists, which included 5 locals, was neutralized. The group created a platform on Odnoklassniki to spread destructive content.

There, enemy Internet agents called russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine ‘fight against fascism’ and agitated local population to join the aggressor’s occupation troops.

In Vinnytsia:

The law enforcement exposed two locals who in the banned social network Odnoklassniki glorified the terrorists and proposed to erect monuments to Kadyrov.

Investigations are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the involved to justice.

Operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
