SSU exposes another 14 collaborators who help enemy russify Ukrainian schools in Mariupol and Henichesk

The SSU is systematically exposing collaborators who help occupiers introduce russian ‘education standards’ in the temporarily occupied areas of southern and eastern Ukraine.

As a result of investigative and operational activities, 14 teachers have been served notices of suspicion of voluntary collaboration with the enemy.

Among them are heads of ‘education departments’ established by the invaders, deans of higher educational establishments and directors of seized Ukrainian schools and colleges.

In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region, the SSU exposed the head of Novokakhovka School No 1. Instructed by gauleiter Saldo, he stole all the property of educational institutions and brought it to Henichesk.

The SSU has also identified the head of Mariupol ‘education department’ of the terrorist organization ‘DNR’.

In this ‘position’, the woman insists that directors of educational institutions should organize teaching using russian textbooks.

Among identified suspects is a former member of a district council and a local school principal, who provides the enemy with addresses of families of resistance movement members.

The SSU also exposed the ‘dean of the pedagogical faculty of ‘Mariupol state university of the DNR’.

Together with other teachers, she organized destruction of Ukrainian textbooks in this institution.

These and other offenders have been notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the CCU).

The SSU is acting to bring the suspects to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The SSU Offices in Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions carried out the investigative and operational activities under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
