SSU exposes another 8 collaborators in Luhansk region: ‘mayor’ of occupied Lysychansk, local ‘prosecutors’ and ‘police officials’
The SSU continues to expose collaborators and traitors: investigators have collected evidence that another 8 ‘officials’ voluntarily cooperate with the enemy in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region.
For example, the pseudo-position of the ‘acting head of Lysychansk administration’ was taken by a local resident who defected to the enemy ‘for ideological reasons’.
Since 2014, this person had been fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ranks of the so-called ‘lnr people’s militia’. Because of that, criminal proceeding was opened against him, and the militant was declared wanted.
Since February, the collaborator had been actively participating in hostilities conducted by the occupation forces. He helped the enemy capture Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna and Lysychansk.
The traitor accepted the post as a reward for his loyalty and now in a new status imitates ‘establishment of peaceful life’ in Lysychansk.
Given the locals’ hostile attitude to the ‘new government’, his task actually is to launch a repressive machine to ‘contain the situation’.
Another local official was ‘promoted’ from an ordinary administrator in Bilokurakyne Administrative Services Center to a manager. Presently, she heads the so-called ‘general unit of Bilokurakyne district administration’.
Another four collaborators ‘found themselves’ in a ‘prosecutor’s profession’. All of them had already proven their loyalty to occupiers, having worked in the field of ‘justice’ in L/DNR terrorist organizations.
In particular, the illegally established ‘lnr Popasna district prosecutor’s office’ has been headed by a resident of Donetsk region, who had previously been ‘deputy prosecutor of Alchevsk’. The Ukrainian law enforcement have already declared him wanted for participation in a terrorist organization.
A 30-year-old native of Luhansk, a former ‘investigator’ of the ‘lnr general prosecutor’s office’ came to lead the ‘prosecutor’s office of Novopskov district’, set up by the occupiers.
A 37-year-old resident of Luhansk, who earlier worked as a ‘chief of unit’ in the so-called ‘lnr general prosecutor’s office’ became the ‘acting prosecutor of Starobilsk district’.
Since 2017, another collaborator held the pseudo-position of ‘senior assistant to prosecutor of Krasnodon town and district prosecutor’s office.’ Now, he works for the occupiers as an assistant prosecutor in the so-called ‘prosecutor’s office of the lnr’s Stanitsa Luhanska district’.
All of them work in the illegal ‘law enforcement agencies’ of russia’s occupation administration, where they:
- implement the policy of russian invaders in the temporarily captured territories of Luhansk oblast;
- carry out criminal prosecution of Ukrainian patriots.
The SSU also exposed a 45-year-old resident of Stanytsia Luhanska, who worked as the ‘chief of operational unit of Stanitsia Luhanska district MIA unit’, and a 42-year-old native of Rubizhne, who holds the position of a ‘chief of criminal investigation department of Troitskyi district MIA unit.’
Before the beginning of russia’s large-scale invasion, both collaborators resigned from internal affairs agencies of Ukraine, but with the arrival of occupiers they decided to ‘return to the job’.
Currently, as ‘leaders’ of the occupation ‘police’, they are helping the enemy carry out repressions against the local pro-Ukrainian population.
Based on the findings, the identified traitors have been notified of suspicion under Article 111-1 of the CCU (collaboration).
The above-mentioned individuals face up to 15 years in prison.
The SSU Offices in Vinnytsia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions carried out the investigations under the procedural supervision of regional prosecutors.
