SSU exposes another three pro-russian agitators, including one calling to raise russian flag over Khortytsia island

The SSU blocked subversive activities of another three ruscism supporters operating in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Zakarpattia regions.

The agitators massively spread calls in social media in support of the occupiers and justified their crimes in Ukraine.

They also span fake news on the situation at the front, discredited Ukrainian Defence Forces and agitated citizens to evade conscription into the Armed Forces.

In this way, pro-kremlin ‘activists’ tried to disrupt mobilization and destabilize the situation in Ukraine’s several regions.

In Kyiv:

The SSU stopped the unlawful activity of the so-called ‘pacifist movement’s executive secretary’.

On his Telegram channel, he actively called on Kyiv residents to ‘dodge’ the draft and flee abroad.

The peacemonger also sent false reports to foreign diplomats about the war in Ukraine. In these texts, he used pro-kremlin narratives to discredit Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces.

By doing so, the offender tried to tarnish Ukraine’s image in the eyes of international partners.

In Zaporizhzhia:

The SSU exposed a local IT specialist who publicly called on residents of the region to raise russia’s flag over the Ukrainian island of Khortytsia.

The suspect used one of the pro-kremlin Telegram channels with a 10,000-user strong audience to spread enemy propaganda.

In Zakarpattia region:

The SSU documented the crimes of the rector of a church in Khust diocese of moscow’s patriarchate’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

On his social media page, the cleric published materials that offended religious feelings of believers of other faiths.

He also posted images with banned communist symbols.

Investigations are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring perpetrators to justice.

The offenders are facing up to 5 years in prison.

The operations were carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
