In Lviv, the SBU exposed a member of a transnational organized criminal group involved in the commission of serious crimes and felonies.

SBU operatives received the information that a previously convicted citizen of a South Caucasus country illegally arrived in Lviv region.The offender specialized in extortion and resolving conflicts between other criminals.

After arrival, he tried to act in the interests of the international criminal group, led by the so-called Lot Quli. He meant to be the “watcher”.

The SBU officers exposed the offender in the regional center.

Currently, the suspect has received a notice of suspicion of committing a crime. Type of detention has been chosen.

Within the criminal proceedings initiated for illegal crossing of the border, the investigation is ongoing to establish all circumstances of the offense.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Lviv region under the legal supervision of Lviv Region Prosecutor's Office.
