The SSU Counterintelligence has exposed an employee of an aerospace manufacturer in Dnipro on cooperation with russian special services. The traitor passed data to the adversary on latest Ukrainian military developments and execution of the state defence orders.

The woman also adjusted missile attacks on Dnipro and informed the enemy on known to her positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city.

According to the investigation, the traitor is a 62-year-old local resident. She decided to collaborate with the enemy because of her pro-russian views. The informant was waiting for the arrival of ‘russkiy mir’ [russian world] in Dnipropetrovsk region and expressed her pro-russian position in social networks in every possible way.

It was documented that she had been passing information on military developments to the russian intelligence since June 2022. The traitor did this despite the fact that her husband and son also work at this enterprise and are involved in development and modernization of military weapons and missile technology.

Her contact person was a member of the russian FSB, who used the informant’s pro-russian views to recruit her.

During the searches, the SSU seized communication devices and computer equipment with evidence of unlawful activity.

SSU investigators have notified the agent of suspicion of treason (Article 111 of the CCU). The court is to decide on the type of detention.

The SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk Region carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of Dnipropetrovsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
