Across Ukraine, the SSU special purpose teams are eliminating Russian agents and squads of the occupying forces.
The SSU is also actively involved in evacuation of civilians. Yesterday, we evacuated over a thousand women and children from Kyiv region.
The results of the SSU activities yesterday (March 3), include the following.
In Luhansk region:
The SSU opened criminal proceedings against an ‘LNR’ militant, who arrived in Bilovodsk accompanied by the Russian military, declared himself the head of the civil-military administration and demanded full subordination of all local authorities.
The occupier announced that Bilovodsk was the territory of the so-called LNR and called on locals and law enforcement to support him and the Russian troops.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 109.1 of the CCU. The investigation is underway.
In Vinnytsia region:
The SSU uncovered a cache of weapons and explosives, which was equipped in a forest.
The seized items include almost 2 kg of TNT and plastic explosive, 10 RGD and F1 grenades with fuses, a loaded magazine for automatic firearms, and grenades for grenade launcher.
In Dnipro:
The SSU detained an agent of Russian special services, who was distributing materials approving of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and inviting civilians to unite around the ideas of Russkiy Mir.
The man justified the barbaric actions of occupiers, who shoot civilians and carry out missile strikes on residential areas of our cities.
The SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion of committing serious and especially serious crimes under Article 437.2 and Article 263 of the CCU.
In Cherkasy region:
The SSU exposed the enemy’s agitator, who spread the aggressor’s propaganda and panic in social networks. Through her posts, she was destabilizing the situation in the region.
The woman also distributed fakes about the activities of state authorities and spread distorted data on martial law.
Within the criminal proceedings initiated under Article 161.1 of the CCU, she was notified of suspicion.
The SSU continues to work 24/7 and makes every effort to identify and bring to justice all those who assist the occupiers - from sabotage and reconnaissance groups to Internet agents.
