SSU blocks company, part of Gazprom Neft
The SSU has blocked the activity of a Kyiv company, which conducted wholesale trade in russian oil products worth hundreds of millions of UAH.
The enterprise was a subdivision of the kremlin monopolist Gazprom Neft, whose owners belong to the inner circle of the highest military and political leaders of the aggressor state.
The investigation established that the Ukrainian ‘branch’ transferred part of the profits to russia’s federal budget, which funded the full-scale invasion of our state.
The enterprise in Ukraine sold russian fuel and lubricant materials on an industrial scale.
They received finished products from their russian ‘business partners’ and stored them in their warehouses.
These logistical bases were also used for selling goods, primarily to affiliated firms and customers on black market.
During the searches of the storage facilities, the SSU found over 27 tons of russian lubricants in containers with markings of the russian corporation. The value of the seized products is almost UAH 10 mln (USD 250,000).
Following the SSU’s investigation, all confiscated goods will be handed over for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The investigation of the crime under Article 110-2.4 of the CCU (financing of actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of territorial boundaries or state border of Ukraine) is underway.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Main Directorate for Countering Systemic Threats to State Administration together with investigators of the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv Region, under the procedural supervision of Kyiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
