SSU bans entry to Ukraine for Romanian politician Șoșoacă, who writes letters to putin calling for seizure of Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine has banned the head of the pro-russian Romanian party SOS Romania, Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă, who supports russia’s war, from entering Ukraine for 3 years.

This foreign politician writes letters to putin in which she praises russia’s full-scale invasion and calls for the seizure of our country.

Șoșoacă questions Ukraine’s national sovereignty and internationally recognized borders, especially in its western and southwestern regions.

The leader of SOS Romania also regularly spreads kremlin narratives during her public speeches in Romania and other EU countries.

The SSU continues to document subversive activities of russia’s foreign accomplices that threaten Ukraine’s state security and will continue to take all necessary action to protect the national security of Ukraine within the limits of the law.
