SSU exposes mass voter fraud to Russian State Duma (video)
SSU established mass voter fraud to the Russian State Duma in September 2021. According to findings, residents of separatist-held territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions ignored the election, whereas the vote was falsified on a massive scale in support of the ruling United Russia party.
In particular, bus routes were organized to Russia for so called voters from the said territories. In fact, the buses were half-empty, whereas Russian propaganda broadcasted pseudo voting turnout.
Allegedly, mass voter fraud was conducted through e-voting. In particular, personal data of vulnerable population were entered into the system without their participation.
Despite the falsification, the occupation authority managed to ensure the turnout of only about 200,000 residents of Ukrainian temporarily occupied areas, while they planned to get more than half a million votes.
Allegedly, after the election, issuing of Russian passports to the said residents was slowed down.
SSU documents the illegal activity of pro-Russian officials within criminal proceedings with further sending of case files to the relevant international bodies.
To remind:
The issued passports include the codes of non-existent division of the Rostov region Federal Migration Service without residence permit, giving no right to social and retirement benefits from Russia.
Note: In 2020, during the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, the EU delegation stated that actions such as the simplified procedure to obtain Russian citizenship to a significant number of the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions is a clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and contrary to the spirit and goals of Minsk agreements. The EU does not recognize such passports and called on other Partner States not to recognize such legally invalid documents.
