SSU detains 4 agitators who praised ruscism, including associate of collaborator Montyan

The SSU has neutralized another network of pro-kremlin agitators operating in several regions of Ukraine.

The perpetrators justified russia’s armed aggression, called for seizure of entire Ukraine and discredited the Defence Forces.

In Mykolaiv region:

A 52-year-old woman from Pervomaisk, who worked remotely for collaborator Tetiana Montyan, has been detained.

For Montyan’s Telegram channel with an audience of over 500,000 subscribers, the suspect prepared pseudo-scientific posts about the war in Ukraine.

The ‘author’ tried to whitewash russia’s full-scale invasion, calling it ‘kremlin’s forced reaction’.

In Kharkiv:

A metro worker was detained for spreading russian narratives about armed aggression against Ukraine.

The agitator was documented assuring others that a ‘civil conflict’ had been taking place in our country since 2014 and that it was still going on.

In Kyiv:

A security guard of a Kyiv car park, who positioned himself as putin’s supporter, was detained.

According to the investigation, the Kyiv resident was spreading calls on his Odnoklassniki page to support the kremlin leader and continue the war against Ukraine.

Another uncovered perpetrator is a local beauty blogger. She was spreading fakes about the war in Ukraine on her TikTok channels.

For example, she denied russia’s full-scale invasion and the presence of russian occupation groupings in Ukraine.

Investigations into all the uncovered facts are ongoing under two Articles of the CCU:

  • 110.1 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
  • 436-2.2, 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
  • The suspects face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv regions, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions under the procedural supervision of regional prosecutor’s offices.
