SSU detains 5 enemy agents and exposes two more collaborators in Kyiv and Kherson regions (video)

The following selection is about the SSU’s latest special operations in recent days.

In Odesa region:

The SSU neutralized an agent network working for the aggressor and detained three of its members. It was established that their actions were coordinated by individuals who fled to Russia in 2014.

On the eve of a large-scale invasion, these agents escalated social tension in various regions. In particular, they tried to commit sabotage by destroying transport infrastructure, burning forests, damaging national and cultural symbols and monuments, holding staged rallies.

Over the last month, the supervisors’ plans changed, so the work of the agents was reformatted. Since then, they have been gathering intelligence: about military formations in Odesa region, location of checkpoints, volunteers’ centers, and local sentiments. If it was necessary, they sent photo reports.

Currently, the detainees are testifying at the SSU about the details of their subversive activities.

In Kyiv region:

The SSU detained a resident of Kyiv region - the self-proclaimed head of Dymer united territorial community.

During the temporary occupation of the region, the traitor voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the enemy. He immediately informed the occupiers on local citizens - participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joined Forced Operation, members of local Territorial Defence, helped the invaders to navigate the area.

Following their instructions, he ‘recruited’ specialists to repair power grids, drivers to take away documents of the village council, accountants to organize work of the so-called new administration, etc. He distributed ‘humanitarian aid’ to locals as a reward for cooperation with occupiers.

In Kherson region:

The SSU notified the self-proclaimed head of civil administration of Nova Kakhovka of suspicion in absentia.

The man, registered as residing in Kyiv, sided with the enemy: he publicly called on citizens to cooperate with occupiers and promoted the idea of establishing ties with Russia. In addition, he rejected humanitarian aid organized by Ukrainian authorities for civilians.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The SSU special purpose unit detained a Russian agent who was helping the enemy to adjust artillery fire.

The detained local resident admitted to the investigation that he had pro-Russian views and believed in the ‘ruZZian mir’. This attracted the attention of Russian special services: they recruited him and instructed to collect coordinates of military headquarters and record movement of Ukrainian military equipment.

To gain more trust of the occupiers, the traitor additionally conducted reconnaissance of critical infrastructure facilities after the missile strikes.

In Mykolaiv:

The SSU detained a local woman who was systematically ‘reporting’ to the occupying forces on the situation in the city. She monitored the operation of checkpoints and certain critical infrastructure facilities.

The SSU is investigating every fact of treason in order to bring the culprits to justice.
