The SSU has detained another enemy accomplice in the aftermath of stabilization measures in liberated Kherson.

The malefactor appeared to be a local lawyer who, after the seizure of the city, facilitated the russian invaders and later joined the local occupation administration of the rf.

While there, the malefactor became head of the "Bureau of Technical Inventory" (BTI) established by the aggressor. According to the data, the collaborator was appointed to this "position" under the personal patronage of Gauleiter Saldo.

As the head of the occupation "BTI", the defendant was engaged in the "re-registration" of the property of the Kherson seaport seized at that time to the "balance sheet" of the occupation "Ministry of Transport of the rf".

The malefactor was also directly involved in the illegal "accounting" of the local municipal enterprise "City Road Department" and the transfer of its fixed assets to the occupiers.

In order to do so, the collaborator called on local residents to join the ranks of the aggressor bodies, for which he promised a russian "salary" and loyalty.

After the liberation of Kherson, the defendant tried to evade justice. However, the SSU established his whereabouts and detained him.

Based on the collected evidence, the SSU served him a notice of suspicion under Part 1 Article 111-2 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).

Currently, the malefactor is in custody. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The offender faces up to 12 years in prison with forfeiture of property.

The stabilization measures were carried out by the SSU in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
